Coffee Mornings

On the first Friday of each month (except May/Bank Holidays), the Society holds a Coffee Morning at St Mary's Church Hall, Church Street from 10:30. These meetings are an open forum to discuss current local issues followed by a raffle and then a guest speaker addresses members and friends on a subject of particular interest.

In addition to Coffee Mornings, the Society holds other Public Meetings jointly with local Groups depending on the issues important to our Town that relate to our core concerns.

November Coffee Morning

10.30 till about 12.00 in the Hall at St Mary's Church Street.
Our Speaker is Nancy Liddell on behalf of 'Carers Support West Sussex'
This organisation plays a vital role in this area, and do understand the hidden and complex emotional problems which many experience supporting others.
All are welcome, and it is free to attend any of our monthly meetings.
Fresh coffee is brewed, and local issues are discussed.3rd Nov 2017, 10:30

December Coffee Morning

10.30 until 12.00 in the Church Hall, St.Mary's, Church Street.
Our Speaker is Leigh Tyler, presenting 'Safe in Sussex', a group who have bought a property in New Road as a refuge, mostly for women and children at risk.
Come along to learn all about this new group in the town.
The second half of our meeting is an 'Open Forum' for all issues in the town to be discussed.
All welcome, and free to attend.
(The hall is in the church grounds, left of the churchyard,
